Two Great Ways to Give

When you give to The Kentucky Conservation Committee, and our affiliated Foundation, your dollars will impact a wide range of important conservation programs. You can choose many ways to give. And every contribution you make will support our effective locally-based conservation work in Kentucky.

The Kentucky Conservation Committee is a registered 501(c)(4) nonprofit chartered in 1975. We are one of Kentucky’s oldest organizations dedicated to local conservation work. Donations to KCC are not tax-deductible due to our effective direct-lobbying Efforts. The Kentucky Conservation Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit chartered in 1981. We were founded to support non-legislative conservation work. Donations to KCF are fully tax-deductible to support our charitable education and advocacy work.
Giving to KCC is a great option for you if you, like the majority of Americans,  do not itemize your donations. Your funds will go directly to supporting strong legislative activity on important issues such as clean air, clean water, lands protection, energy reform and other direct legislative action. These are the most valuable donations to our core work. While donations to KCC are the most desired, Giving to KCF is a great option for you if you itemize your donations or want to take full advantage of tax deductions. Your funds will go directly to supporting educational work on clean air, clean water, lands protection, energy reform and more, however funds cannot be used for direct lobbying.
Your dollars to KCC provide core funding for our ability to provide direct public support to citizens who are affected by laws and regulations that directly affect their health, equity and safety. Your dollars to KCF provide supplemental funding to build support for issues that have not yet become actionable legislation or may not involve legislative activity.
